Come check it out. A curving dreamscape of smooth concrete, the $170,000 facility boasts back to back half-pipe thrills, centralized pyramids to launch off, plenty of smooth metal trim to grind, handrails, curbs and a lot more. Expect a supportive atmosphere: skaters look out for one another here. All ages are welcome, but parents may want to come cheer on their young ones.

Grab your skateboards and roller blades, but leave your bikes at home: they're not allowed. And don't forget your helmet, elbow pads and knee pads: they are required!

You'll find the skate park toward the back of Beach Park, off 21st and Oaks streets - behind the fitness club. Park hours run from 5am to 10pm.
