Park Description: The 14,400 square foot park includes rails, ledges, fun boxes, moon craters, and a bowl. The skate park has a handicap accessible restroom. The total project cost is estimated at $450,000.

Park Rules::
This facility exists for the use and enjoyment of everyone. It is an unsupervised
facility, and it is up to you, as users, to see that the facility is kept clean and free
of graffiti and stickers, the facility is not physically abused, and the users follow the
posted rules. With everyone’s help and cooperation, this facility can remain open and available for use by all.

Facility Rules – Important – Please Read

1. Hours of Operation: 10 AM to Dusk. Facility may be subject to closure at any
time. Use of this facility is not allowed outside of these hours.
2. Only skateboards and in-line skates are allowed to be used in the facility. All
skateboards and skates must be in good repair.
3. Bicycles, scooters, Razors, and any other types of apparatus are prohibited.
4. All skaters must wear proper helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads. Straps on helmets must be fastened. This equipment must be designed for skating and be in good repair.
5. An adult must supervise all skaters under 14 years of age.
6. The following are prohibited: alcohol consumption, drug use, smoking, amplified music, audio headsets, excessive noise.
7. This facility is closed, and unavailable for use, at any time that the skating
surface is wet or covered with debris.
8. It is your responsibility to “look before you skate.” Do not use this facility if
a hazardous condition exists. Report any damage or hazardous condition to the City of Anaheim, Community Services Department, at (714) 765-5191.
9. Additional obstacles or other materials (such as ramps or jumps) may not be used at the skate facility.
10. Do not skate on the curbs, driveways, or stairs in the surrounding area.
11. Any organized events must have prior written permission from the City’s Community Services Department at (714) 765-5191.
12. Facility users must also abide by all other rules and regulations applicable to
City parks.


WARNING

13. Any person who rides or uses a skateboard, in-line skates without wearing the required properly fastened helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads, Straps on helmets must be fastened, or uses any other devise in this facility is in violation of Section 13.10 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and is subject to be cited and fined $100.

14. Skateboarding and skating are regarded as presenting a substantial risk of injury and therefore constitute hazardous recreational activities (under the meaning of California Government Code Section 831.7 (b)). Use of this facility may result in serious bodily injury, permanent disability, or even death. All activities other than skateboarding and in-line skating are expressly prohibited.

15. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR INJURY TO, OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OF, FACILITY USERS.

16. Facility users who violate the Rules are subject to removal.
